Description

Come get dirty! The Living Coast Discovery Center, the Tijuana River Natural Estuarine Research Reserve, and volunteers from San Diego Bay Wildlife Refuge would like your help to stop the seed bank of invasive species before they displace vital native plant habitat. They will concentrate the effort on the North McCoy restoration site. Then follow up by plantingCoastal Sage Scrub habitat which will provide habitat for the Ridgeway's rail and stopover browsing for migratory birds.

Volunteers must work in long pants and boots or sturdy shoes. Sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen are also recommended. Volunteers under 18 must bring signed permission forms, available by request. Volunteers under 16 must attend with an adult.
