Description
Join Ranger Dale for an easy hike on the beautiful Dairy Mart Loop Trail. Learn about some of the Coastal Sage Scrub and Riparian plants of the Tijuana River Valley and how some of these plants were used by Native Americans. Get some information about the permanent bird species in this area and other migratory birds along the Pacific Flyway.
MEET AT THE DAIRY MART POND PARKING LOT:
From I-5, use exit 2, Dairy Mart Road. Go south past Servando Avenue and park in the first dirt parking lot on the right across from Camino de La Plaza.
The hike is from 10 - 11:30 a.m. on March 4 and 18; April 1, 15 and 29; and May 13 and 27.
Inclement weather will cancel the hike and all ages are welcome!
